    Reviews Summary
Customers say this 18L camera backpack is perfectly sized for mirrorless systems, comfortably fitting multiple camera bodies, lenses, and accessories without being bulky. Many appreciate the multiple access points - top, side, and rear zippers - making gear easily accessible. The bag's compact design fits under airplane seats and doesn't look like expensive camera equipment. Users find it lightweight and comfortable for day trips, though some note the shoulder straps could use more padding for extended wear. The dividers are well-designed and customizable. A few mention the base doesn't sit flat, causing stability issues when standing upright.

Perfect size, well laid out for Fuji XT5 kit

Packing for a trip a couple weeks ago a seam let go on the camera backpack I've been using for a long time - acquired when I was a Nikon shooter, so it was very large. Large enough to require intensive negotiations to get it on a plane in the passenger compartment with me. Casting around I saw the Luma 18L, and eyeballing it thought that it would be perfect for my current kit which is Fujifilm XT5 based. Bought it paid for overnight from my long time supplier, and hoped for the best.

When it arrived, I started fiddling with lenses and camera bodies. The pack was big enough to easily hold one body with 18-55 lens mounted in that side-access area (the "as shipped" configuration, that camera and lens were an exact fit with just enough slack to absorb the camera strap), and then compartments filled with the 8-16mm zoom, 70-300 zoom, and a few primes - 90mm f2, 56mm f1.2, 16mm f1.4. I put my second XT5 body in the top compartment with the 18mm f2, a very tight fit even without the camera strap. The pockets inside swallowed up CF cards, lens wipes, compass, USB C cables, and my MacBook Pro 16 inch slid into the laptop compartment. I had a lot of loose space around the lenses, wished I had a couple dividers to rejigger the lens area, but as it was worked out well. Passport and note cards in the front pocket.

No negotiations required to get it on the plane along with my carry on luggage. Fit perfectly well under the seat in front, an aisle seat so not as wide as under a window or…

Just what i was looking for

I wanted a comfortable and compact bag that would snugly fit a trio of lenses for flexible shooting options. I also did not want the bag to scream expensive camera gear inside. The 18L in sage fits my needs better than I could ever imagine. I swapped a leading brand 30L bag for this 18L bag and can carry the exact same amount of gear. It's very well made and sturdy. Love it!

Not Perfect But It's the Best Bag for Me

I have severe arthritis, and my hands are deformed. I have spent over $1000 on camera bags, from slings to backpacks. The Nomatic Luma 18L is small enough like the Peak Design Everyday Zip 15L, but packs a lot more gear, and the nothing rattles around.

The straps aren't as thick as the Wandrd Prvke 21L, but it's not thin or flimsy by any means. I find it to be just right. I just can't figure out how to get a Peak Design Capture Clip onto the straps though.

It's lightweight, comfortable on my back. I fanboyed over this thing so much I actually made an 8 minute review on Youtube lol.

It's not perfect. I wish the zipper pulls were more like Peak Design or Wandrd, where they have loops, and it's much easier on my hands. The interior section with the mesh pockets, I wish the zippers had actual zipper pulls or loops instead of tabs. But the tabs do look more aesthetic, so I get it.

It's not my everyday bag, because I'm physically challenged so I have to go with a sling for everyday carry. But this bag is awesome for day trips or for days I need to carry a bit more gear.

I'm currently trying to decide between buying a Luma 12L or a Peter McKinnon 13L for days I just can't physically put a backpack on my shoulders. Probably the Peter McKinnon 13L lol, because the Luma 12 kinda looks like a lunchbox to me.

      Everyday Workhorse

This bag has become my everyday workhorse for school. I’m able to easily carry a full frame Sony A7IV with a 35mm GM attached and a 24-70mm GM along with a few art supplies for a painting and ceramics class. This bag has also made a great travel companion when paired up with the 35l backpack and 8L sling. The 35L makes the perfect carry-on bag to carry the bulk of my camera equipment, the 8L sling and clothes. I then used the 18L Luma to carry some of the bigger equipment on my day to day outings and the 8L sling for run and gun.
