Is this better for work, travel, or everyday use?

All three. This bag is built to transition seamlessly from your daily commute to business meetings to travel. Features like the luggage pass-through, RFID-safe storage, and smart internal organization make it just as functional on the road as it is at your desk.

What makes this different from a standard laptop bag?

Most laptop bags carry your gear. This one adapts to your day. With expandable storage, a hidden water bottle pocket, premium materials, and multiple carry options, it’s designed to replace your briefcase, tech pouch, and travel bag in one streamlined system.

Will this bag fit my laptop and daily essentials?

The Laptop Bag is designed to fit all 16" laptops, along with a tablet, charger, notebook, and daily essentials. With its expandable design (11L to 13.5L), you’ll have extra space when you need it—without carrying unnecessary bulk when you don’t.

Does it feel bulky or heavy when fully packed?

No. The bag is structured to stay slim and professional, even when expanded. At just 2 lbs, it’s lightweight, and the expansion is designed to add capacity without sacrificing comfort or a clean silhouette.

How is everything organized inside the bag?

Everything has its place. The bag features dedicated compartments for your laptop and tablet, plus internal mesh pockets, zip compartments, and pen storage for smaller items. The full-perimeter opening also lets you see and access everything at a glance.

Thoughtfully Engineered

Won Me Over W/ The Water Bottle Pocket

"Wasn’t sure how much I’d like it until I started using it, but it’s surpassed my expectations. I’m a minimalist and prefer shoulder bags to backpacks—this one’s perfect for work and expands enough for short trips too. It easily holds my 16" MacBook Pro, 13" iPad Pro, cables, cords, a spare jacket, keyboard and more. But what really sold me was the zippered/ hidden water bottle pocket. I won’t buy a bag without a water bottle pocket, and the way they integrated it here is ingenious. Chef’s kiss to the Nomatic design team." - Nick M. (Verified Buyer)

Great Daily Use and Travel Briefcase
This is the 4th bag from Nomatic that I have purchased and it is the one that I am using the most. I travel every week internationally and the organization in this bag allows me to use this and just a carry-on with ease - especially able to expand the bag and carry a water bottle that will missing from the tech case. Everything has a place and important documents feel secure in the pockets. This is my first bag that is not black and I like the new blue color way. I would highly recommend it.

Classy, getting use to it
First off, beautiful bag. Obviously smaller than a backpack, but holds more than I thought and getting use to it. I needed to cut down on what I travel with and this helps. Easy to open and sits great on your carry on! Water bottle front pocket won't hold a regular size plastic water bottle, got a smaller one on Amazon that fits but tight. Only complaint, the shoulder strap should have a shoulder pad on it, it's just a strap, so thin and cuts into your shirt and shoulder.

Excellent laptop bag
Love the bag and the way it compartmentalizes things, with the water bottle holder it works great for travel in airplanes.
Only complaint is the zippers could be a tad bit smother but this may smooth out after more use, and while still comfortable a small pad on the shoulder strap would be god.
