Nomatic Lifetime Warranty Policy
Manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty
We stand by the quality of our products with a Manufacturer's Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and, workmanship in our Backpacks, Bags, Luggage and Accessories (*excluding apparel, wallets and refurbished or final sale products, please see below for more information.) Our Manufacturer’s Lifetime Warranty is extended to the original owner of the item and covers any manufacturer issues that hinder the functionality of the product for the lifetime of your gear. Cosmetic damage & normal wear and tear are not covered. We will always do our best to repair your well-loved gear, and help keep products out of the landfill. If we cannot repair it, or do not have the repair parts to send you to fix the gear, you may be eligible for a replacement bag of the same item.
NOMATIC’s Manufacturer’s Lifetime Warranty covers, manufacturing defects that affect the main functionality of the product, including the following:
- Broken Zippers
- Torn Zipper Track
- Broken Buttons
- Seal & Seam Defects
NOMATIC’s Manufacturer’s Lifetime Warranty does not cover, and is not limited to, the following:
- Cosmetic Blemishes, Scratches, Stains
- Accidental Damage
- Damage Caused by Misuse of Product
- Airline Mishandling Damage
- Final sale items, clearance items, refurbished items, and any product purchased second hand
- Lost or misplaced items
The Lifetime Warranty is eligible to the original recipient of the NOMATIC Product. For your ease and convenience, we require registering all NOMATIC gear when it has been purchased. You can register your gear here:
Proof of purchase or confirmed product registration is required when filing a warranty claim. If you purchased from Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or directly from NOMATIC.com our support team can assist in locating the proof of purchase for your claim. If you purchased from any of our approved dealers, please reach out to the dealer directly, and they can assist with locating your proof of purchase.
When you submit a warranty claim with NOMATIC you will be asked to provide proof of purchase (typically in the form of a receipt) from an authorized NOMATIC retailer. If you are unable to produce this information, your warranty claim will not be initiated or processed. The NOMATIC warranty processors are unable to overturn this policy so please don’t ask them to break the rules.
For protection against accidental damages, the Mulberry extended protection plan covers all those accidents that can happen as you adventure around the world with your NOMATIC products. For example, if you’re road-tripping across the country and end up damaging the zipper in the process, then the extended protection plan has you covered. Or, if you’re more of a home-body and you accidentally spill your morning coffee all over the inside of the bag, that’s also covered. We have partnered with Mulberry Protection and offer two and three-year extended protection plans for all luggage & bags. You can add the Mulberry extended protection during your checkout process.
Please note that for all warranty claims submitted; NOMATIC will provide a prepaid shipping label for the defective bag to be sent to our warehouse before resolving the claim. NOMATIC will cover any repair/replacement material costs.
Apparel and Wallet Limited 1-Year Warranty
Standard warranty does not apply to apparel or wallets. We guarantee apparel and wallets against manufacturing defects for 1 Year. NOMATIC Apparel Products and wallets are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date. Any Product claimed to be defective must be made available to NOMATIC for inspection. NOMATIC at its sole option shall repair or replace the defective Product or any defective component thereof. Abuse, modification or, improper maintenance or operation of a Product and normal wear and tear are specifically excluded from this Limited Warranty. THE PROVISIONS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE EXCLUSIVE AND ARE IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED AND WHETHER WRITTEN OR ORAL (INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE).
Certified Refurbished Products Limited 1-Year Warranty
Standard warranty does not apply to Certified Refurbished products. We guarantee Certified Refurbished products against manufacturing defects for 1 Year. NOMATIC Certified Refurbished products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date. Any Product claimed to be defective must be made available to NOMATIC for inspection. NOMATIC at its sole option shall repair or replace the defective product or any defective component thereof. Abuse, modification or improper maintenance or operation of a Product and normal wear and tear are specifically excluded from this Limited Warranty. How to submit a warranty claim:
To submit a warranty request, click the button below and fill out the prompted form. Our warranty team will review your request, issue a warranty authorization number, and inform you of any and all ‘next steps’ through the email provided on the form. All bags must have a warranty authorization number before being sent to our repair center.
Items purchased from unauthorized resellers are not covered.

What to expect when you file a warranty claim:
Once you’ve filed your claim through our Warranty Request Form, a specialized NOMATIC warranty manager will examine your claim photos and determine if the product can be repaired, or if a replacement is necessary. This process typically takes about 1-3 weeks. You can expect one of the following decisions to be made:
- Repair of issue
- DIY Repair kit issued
- Replacement Item
The shipping address you provide in your claim, will be used to issue replacement parts or a replacement. Please use a permanent shipping address, as we are unable to make any changes once a claim is submitted and reviewed. Once your claim has been processed, and a decision for repair or replacement has been made, the defective bag must be shipped to our warehouse in Pleasant Grove, Utah before a replacement is issued or the defect is repaired. Once we have received the product we will begin repairs, or issue a replacement. In the event that a product has been discontinued, we will issue NOMATIC store credit for the amount originally paid, as noted on proof of purchase. The entire process can take anywhere from 2-4 weeks.
Note for International Warranty Claims:
If we do not deliver to your country please set up a 3rd party shipping provider that will be able to deliver the item or please have an address in a different country that it could be delivered to and provide that address in your warranty claim. International warranty recipients will be responsible for VAT/Duties & Fees.
*We make repair or replacement decisions based on manufacturer defect guidelines and reserve the right to decline claims that fall outside of manufacturer defect guidelines. Rest assured, we want you to continue to love your gear and will do what we can to make that happen.
NOMATIC is not liable for damage to computers, cameras, equipment, clothing or anything in your surrounding environment as a result of using our products. NOMATIC is also not liable for bodily injury to yourself or others as a result of using our products.
