My laptop bag just arrived and it exceeds every expectation but for one: the lack of a sewn ribbon with a key clip is a big miss here.

I imagine that customer responses to the weather resistant but scuff-prone fabric will necessitate a redesign. I hope this will include a secure key clip — and I’m dreaming of a solution that I will be able to retrofit. Suggest possibly making use of one of the two pen holders?

Frequent international travelers will appreciate this bag’s slimness which earns it 98% airline compliance as a personal item. But we also stay in a lot of rented flats and need to protect our keys with our lives. The perfect travel keychain has space to clip one’s car/house keys for the entire journey (where they keys will not move once clipped and stowed at the beginning of the trip). and another quick release but secure tether for local keys (ideally on a ribbon with good hand feel that allows the trip keeps to be stored physically adjacent to or even apart from, the home keys).

Otherwise just what I expected after a full week of intensive research. Well made, fairly well designed, good value for money.

I do agree with many who want to see some padding in the computer pocket divider. And I’d like to see an interior that isn’t black??? That was another miss. I think a pale lemony color would do nicely. Not glaring but bright and pleasing. Too hard to see things at a glance in the interior. I replaced my old bag with this. It's excellent for organization, and is sturdy without being too heavy.

Stuff I like:

Two front pockets - I don't carry a lot of extra cables and accessories, so a single large pocket is more space than I need. The water bottle pocket holds an extra pair of glasses when I don't need a bottle.

The lined front pocket is great to tuck my phone, or a lanyard and conference badge.

Fully opening main area - way better than having to dig into the bag to figure out where my charging cable is.

The straps are soft enough and wide enough not to bite into my shoulder, without an extra "shoulder rest".

Things I wish were better:

I wish the laptop pocket had a double-zipper; I'll get used to it, but right now I still have to search for the zipper on the side of the bag

The magnetic pocket is too small to hold most things, and too tight to easily retrieve anything it does hold.
