Does the Method Carry-On meet airline carry-on size requirements?

Yes. The Method Carry-On measures H 22" × W 14" × D 9" (expandable to 10.75" depth) and meets standard airline carry-on size requirements. It also includes an integrated TSA-approved lock. We recommend checking your specific airline's policy before traveling, as some budget carriers have stricter size limits.

How does this carry-on fit 20% more than other carry-ons at the same size?

Through micro-welding technology, a redesigned internal structure, and thinner but stronger shell materials, we maximized usable interior volume without increasing the exterior footprint. The result is 39L–47L of packing space — enough for roughly three extra days of clothing compared to a standard carry-on.

What trip length is the Carry-On best for?

The Method Carry-On is designed for roughly 4–7+ day trips. Its 39L base capacity (expandable to 47L) makes it easy to skip checked bags on shorter trips, and many customers pack for 8+ days by taking advantage of the full-perimeter expansion and compression panel.

What are the 360-degree silent glide wheels like?

The spinner wheels rotate freely in any direction and are engineered to glide quietly across hard floors. They've been tested through 30+ real-world simulations — including wheel abrasion, mileage, free-gliding, and caster drop — to ensure long-term smooth performance.

What warranty does the Method Carry-On come with?

It's covered by NOMATIC's Life Well Lived Warranty & Repair, which covers defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the product.

What is full-perimeter expansion and how does it work?

Full-perimeter expansion means the zipper runs all the way around the bag's perimeter — not just along one side — allowing the depth to grow from 9" to 10.75". This opens up capacity more evenly across the entire interior, giving you more usable space when you need it.

Does it have a built-in TSA lock?

Yes. An integrated TSA-approved combination lock is built into the bag. TSA agents can open it with a master key for inspection without cutting or damaging the lock.

Is there a pocket for a GPS tracker?

Yes. There's a concealed interior pocket sized for an Apple AirTag or similar GPS tracker, so you can monitor your bag's location without anyone knowing the tracker is there.

Truly Shocking Amount Of Space

"Legitimately SHOCKING how much more I can fit in this suitcase. From someone that has packed a lot of carry on size luggage in his days, it was immediately apparent that I was fitting more than my previous suitcase could handle. Throw in the incredibly smooth (and silent!) wheels and expansion system, this really might be the best carry on luggage yet." - Sam M. (Verified Buyer)

Loving our new Gomatic Carryons
We’ve had the original Nomatic carryons for over 2 years and just bought the new Gomatic models. They’re larger which helps for the 5 day trips but are still perfect carryon size. These roll so much better than our old ones too…. Makes a world of difference. Great products with high quality and durability.

Built for unexpected adventures
Now I'm not pointing any fingers, but someone (not me) decided to buy 14 hardcover art books at the beginning of a 10 day excursion across Europe. We packed them up, half in my little gomatic bag, and we were off! Across cobblestones, up and down stairs, in and out of trains, more cobblestones, subways, taxis, accross 4 countries, we could have been a commercial for this bag! It held up like a champ, looks and rolls great. Not to mention I packed 10 days of clothes in this carry-on sized case originally (before being displaced by books). Great bag overall!
